Isabel writes and contributes to policy research on AI governance, algorithmic accountability, and digital policy in Latin America. Her work examines the structural conditions that produce algorithmic exclusion, the democratic accountability failures created by unregulated AI use, and the policy frameworks needed to govern automated systems in contexts of high informality and institutional fragility.
